Charlie Trollope was man of the tournament for Cambridge Middle School last week.

His futsal team beat Tokoroa Intermediate 9-0, Rototuna Junior High School 4-0, Maeroa Intermediate 5-0 and Peachgrove Intermediate 10-0 in pool play, advancing to a semifinal against Berkley Normal Middle School before defeating Matamata Intermediate in the final at The Peak Recreation Centre in Hamilton.

The win at the 2024 Waikato Intermediate and Middle Schools futsal tournament last Tuesday was the latest in a string of sporting successes for the school this year, which has also won Waikato Intermediate and Middle Schools swimming, football and hockey tournaments and tied for first in cricket.
