Last ‘hoorah’ in pool

The last Aquafit class in the Cambridge Town pool until late 2019.

The sun was out for last Thursday’s Aquafit class in the Cambridge Town pool. The pool closed on Sunday, undergoing a $16.5M redevelopment.  The project got underway on Monday, with construction personnel on and off site as preparing for the big build, with the pool scheduled to reopen in late 2019.  Aquafit participant Philippa Baker said they were all grateful to the Sport Waikato volunteers who ran the classes, and they have thoroughly enjoyed their sessions over the summer.
