Fix in sight for Spark

Spark’s shop’s frontage on Victoria Street is set to be fixed within the next month.

The Spark store is still boarded up, two and a half months on from the New Year’s Eve ram-raid that totalled its frontage.

As for the alleged ram-raiders, police said one has entered a plea of not guilty and has been remanded on bail to reappear in the Hamilton District Court on April 17.

The other two accused have entered no plea in relation to their charges, with one currently remanded in custody and the other on bail to reappear in the Hamilton District Court on April 11.

A Spark spokesperson advised the shop’s frontage will be fixed within the next month.
