Colin smashes record

Auckland masters’ rider Colin Claxton smashed the 2000m individual pursuit world record for his age group at the Avantidrome last Friday night.  Chasing a time of 2:34.439 seconds in the 8-lap ride, Colin achieved a provisional time of 2:32.746 seconds, shaving almost 1.7 seconds off the previous record-holder’s time.
