Robinson where?

A sign on Robinson Street was installed, reading “Robinson Road”.

A typo on a street sign has caused a bit of confusion in Cambridge East, with a section of Robinson Street being renamed Robinson Road.

Some residents wondered if it was following the example of Victoria Street, which becomes Victoria Road as it heads out of town, however council confirms it is an error and the sign will be replaced with the correct version.

The real Robinson Road remains in Roto-O-Rangi, where it’s been for years.
