Thousands of people spent three days browsing the Sir Don Rowlands centre where more than 70 stalls had been set up.
For St Kilda Café and Bistro owner Vikram Singh it was a busy three days spent with a smile on his face.
At this month’s Waikato Hospitality Awards St Kilda placed third in the restaurant category – which was won by another Cambridge restaurant, Alpino. To cap that off, St Kilda also won the people’s choice award.

Singh purchased the business last August and has striven to increase its appeal – and is proud to see its rating improve on the Tripadvisor app.
Upstairs, Tamahere Lions were on deck showing off the community E-Trike they have donated to Riverside Adventures, based at the Cambridge velodrome.
The E-Trike is available for use – free – the Te Awa River Ride, making the ride accessible to people who might not otherwise be able to use it.

Back down stars it was impossible to walk past the Zendah Candle stall without noticing the aromas from what appeared to be incredible decorative cocktails.
Natalie Chapple explain the candles are made to burn – but they are usually used as decorations.
Stall holders reported a steady stream of enquiries throughout the three days.
Good Local Media publisher David Mackenzie said he was delighted that in the current economic climate the show still drew in the crowds.
“What struck me was that people were happy… the feedback from both exhibitors and the public was positive – and it helped that the weather was brilliant,” he said.
