Students with blazers
Members of Cambridge High School’s 2026 student executive have been presented with blazers recognising their leadership positions and responsibilities.
The students’ parents and caregivers were invited to present the jackets on campus, as a nod to the role they played in their children’s success.
“The blazer presentation recognises these students’ character and willingness to lead, and they represent the school values of realising your potential, engaging with purpose, acting with integrity, caring for people and places, and having courage to succeed,” acting deputy principal Marcel Kuijpers said.
There are four head students on the student executive this year – Erin Bouwer, Ethan Harvey, Anna Crouchman and Blake Williams.
They are joined by Board of Trustees student representative Barry Baldo, and 12 prefects – Jake Brugh and Isla Read (academic), Bradley Smith and Evelyn Winter (arts), Cailin Jones and Harris MacLennan (community and sustainability), Penny Lang and Bede Newlands (sport), Ally El Senussi and Laqueisha Lim (te huingaa – belonging and connection), PepeRereao James Kawamura and Deja Ngohe (te hunga taikaakaa) and Maggie Strawbridge and Alexis Turner (senior celebrations).
