An almost unheard of feat saw Hautapu take down Hamilton Old Boys 40-0 at Fred Jones Park in Hamilton in Waikato premier club rugby last weekend.

It was a joyous occasion for the club as Jason Thomasen celebrated his 150th game and Quentin Hill his 50th.
Impressive winger Nathan Stephens helped himself to two tries, while Rui Farrant, Karlan Mosaati, Konelio Burgess and Jacob Carmichael also scored.
Rangiwai Lunjevich kicked two conversions and Alapati Soagia added another.
In the earlier premier B clash, Hautapu B beat Hamilton Old Boys B 34-22.
Neighbours Te Awamutu Sports won 26-12 away to United Matamata Sports.
Melville/Hautapu combined (Mel-tap) demolished Hamilton Marist/University combined, 76-5, in the women’s premiership clash at Marist Park.
Melina Salale scored two tries and kicked eight conversions in the 12 tries to one thumping. Maya Tebbutt completed her hat-trick, while Lela Ieremia and Caitlin Crozier scored twice. Eden Early, Sasha Kana and Chyann Kaitapu also got a try apiece.
In Division 1A Leamington wiped the floor with Hinuera, beating them 41-7 at Wealleans Park.
In a continuing theme, captain Thomas Fraser helped himself to a double in the seven try haul. Robert Day also added another 11 points to his impressive season.
Hinuera B won 20-7 against Leamington B in the earlier match.
At colts level Leamington beat Melville/University/Te Rapa combined colts 31-0.
Josh Osborne grabbed a double in the five try victory. Frank Hughes added three conversions off the kicking tee.
